I thought that I should remind all of you that the Pope actually changed St. Patrick's Day this year! Today is not St. Patrick's Day.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful week! I was wondering who is participating in Lent this year. This year I decided to abstain for sodas with caffeine, ice cream, and all other books (except for homework) except the Bible. I think it is so important that we properly honor the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us!

I think that we ought to do some fun things around the Pentamerone for Easter! Can we do an Easter egg hunt? I could lead us all in some hymns.

This week I have another competition! It will be in Buffalo. I am practicing very hard, but I always have time to help any of you if you would like to learn introductory gymnastics.

I got second place for the floor competition! Second place! If I keep getting second place that means I'm going to nationals!! Thank you to everyone who came! Thank you so much! It was so nice to have my own cheering section! If anyone wants to learn gymnastics I would just love to teach them! I really would. Oh, this is so wonderful! I'm glad my parents let me go. That was so nice of them. This is just terrific! And now Delilah will come to my gym so we can work out together!

Hello everyone. Thank you very much for your help the other day. Professor Anser and Dr. Winterburn made everything work out nicely. It was very nice of Miss Prudence and Edwina to try to see me. Some of the ladies who work there were very cross at them for trying to see me but it was so nice of them. And Georgia and Delilah were also very nice to me.

I really missed being home, but I am here and I will go to school tomorrow.

I have a gymnastics competition this Saturday. It's at Chelsea Piers Sport's Center. I would be so happy if some of you could come and see. I got third place on the balance beam last year and I want to get first this year!

My parent's don't want me to go, but I hope my new psychologist will tell them that I should.

I had a really wonderful practice last night. I have a state competition next month so I need to work hard to be ready, but I also have a lot of schoolwork to do. Has anyone else read PRIDE AND PREJUDICE? It is a very interesting book. I just finished it, and I have to read SENSE AND SENSIBILITY before next Friday. I think it was very romantic, and I liked Jane the best. Lydia should not have been as foolish as she was. I hope that I would never upset my family like that. My mother said that Jane Austen should have given Lydia a worse life than she did in the end.

Hello. My name is Pearl. Professor Anser gave this to me. You all seem to lead very exciting lives. I hope that I will lead an exciting life.

Am I supposed to tell you what Fairy Tale I come from? I'm the Good Daughter from Diamonds and Toads. It was written by a man named Charles Perrault. I've looked up about him on the internet. He wrote quite a lot of fairy tales, including Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella. We're going to be doing sections on all literary genres next year. I can't wait to do the section on Fairy Tales, now. I think I'll get a very good grade on it.

I don't really know what else to say. This is like beginning a letter to a pen-pal in another state. I have a pen-pal in Washington. We are required to write to each other four times a year. I don't really enjoy it, but some of the other girls in my class have become very close with their assigned pen-pals.

In case you are interested, I am very interested in gymnastics. I have been doing them since I was very little and am working on moving up to become an Elite Gymnast.
Several of the girls that goes to Chelsea Piers with me are going to be going to the Olympic tryouts. I'm a few months too young, but that's fine. Right now I'm trying to perfect my front handspring with spread legs. I've gotten pretty good at doing the front handspring with closed legs, so I know that I will be able to manage this move soon.

Many of you do seem very nice. Professor Anser was very nice to me when he came to tell me why I keep throwing up all the was having all of these funny dreams. Edwina is also very kind. I will be very careful to make sure that my parents and brother and sister do not find this book. Does anyone have any good advice on where to hide this? I don't think they'd understand. It's not wrong to keep a secret like this from my parents, is it?
